Our bold work
Make the leap from B2B, to B2C with an Amazon presence.
We helped Bestar reach out directly to consumers to complement the existing wholesaler distribution model. We repositioned the brand and developed a digital expansion strategy. Our recommendation was to sell through Amazon, as it was more optimal than developing a private online trading platform. We also performed a product analysis to identify the optimal online offerings.
Optimize online presence to address decline of in-store purchases
To address the decreasing sales in retail stores, Ascendis helped David’s Tea develop a revenue growth strategy to leverage an optimize their digital presence. We reviewed the website and the digital marketing strategy, then designed a new eCommerce website platform and operationalized the proposed changes

Launch of a transactional site and new online identity
We developed a new visual identity and content for the online brand and enhanced customer experience by leveraging new technology, new logistics and new channels. We provided and trained the brand team with new digital and IT resources, then set new processes and sales growth objectives for digital channels.

I had the chance to work with Jeannie Vondjidis-Miller from Ascendis on our rebranding strategy at Solotech, a global leader in audiovisual and entertainment technology. From marketing research to positioning strategy, from ideation to visual creation, our journey culminated with the launch of a renewed and dynamic brand image. The Ascendis team was an outstanding partner, a key stakeholder for several months. Their valuable advice combined with the efforts of our growing internal team allowed us to complete this enormous project in less than 12 months! “Simply spectacular”, to use the slogan that now accompanies Solotech around the world.
We began our adventure with Ascendis as part of an organizational alignment of our corporate services. Since then, we’ve continued to work with them on our structure and organizational development in order to plan our succession and implement best practices in governance.

In 2015, we had the privilege of working with Ascendis on an initial strategic plan for Mondou. Their rigorous approach helped our management team identify our priorities and engage our people. In 2017, the Ascendis team also helped us set up a joint venture and define our vertical integration strategy in collaboration with our partner. Both projects were very successful.
To create a strategic plan, it takes intelligence, culture and I would even say a certain artistic sensibility.
It requires the participation of all internal and external stakeholders, as well as rigorous support from people who ask the right questions. No matter how well we think we know our organization, nothing beats an outsider’s perspective, which can sometimes be incisive, to shed light on a strategic approach. If it is done with tact and competence, it forces us to improve ourselves.
