Guillaume Fortier is on both the Consulting and Commerce teams at Ascendis. Since joining the team, his sense of priorities, pragmatism, and creativity in problem solving have made him an asset in strategic planning, business planning, market study and digital transformation mandates.

As far as projects go, Guillaume has worked on internal and external analyses, as well as the development of key growth strategies for SMBs in multiple industries including commercial real estate, technology, and manufacturing. He has also supported the elaboration of digital transformation strategies for manufacturing and commercial real estate entities, facilitated strategic sessions with a fintech start-up, as well as a publicly traded company in the renewable energy industry. He was also a key player in the evaluation and presentation of the Team’s Performance Portrait with multiple high growth SMBs through the TPP© platform.

Before joining Ascendis, Guillaume was a business development project manager at Groupe Juste pour rire/Just for Laughs, where he worked closely with the CFO on developing business plans and administering some of the organization’s investments. He was also project manager on the sale of JPR/JFL to a partnership led by ICM partners, Bell Media & Evenko. During his years of study, he also worked at Ivanhoé Cambridge as an analyst on the finance team.

Guillaume holds a Bachelor of Commerce in finance & international affairs from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
